The Cookout

Food was all hot, fresh, and delicious. Staff was very friendly, as well. We had 3 flavors of wings, kid's grilled cheese, and a cookout burger combo. Everyone was delicious! Prices are very reasonable. Water was very fresh tasting -lol (I hate when water tastes like a a swimming pool). Food did take about 30 minutes to come out, but they were extremely busy. We did not mind the wait, and the food arrived hot and fresh. Would definitely return!

My first time here. It won't be my last bc im always willing to try again. The place was clean. Appears it would be a good place to go for game night, all its missing is a cigar lounge. The lady who took the order was pleasant, orders got mixed up but noone's perfect. Once I got my food it was hot. Wings were good and burger also. Fries were just right. I will visit again.

Edit: Update. It seems that they have resolved the overcooked wings problem. I'll go from 3 to 4 stars now. Favorite wing flavors are Bbq, Bourbon, Sweet Red Chili, & Cookout Rub. I was disappointed in the garlic parmesan & the lemon pepper wet's sweetness & lack of lemon pepper flavor. Many ppl like it, just not for me. 7/29/23 I got a cheeseburger, fish, and ranch wings. The ranch wings aren't as good as Walmart, but they have a good flavor. Good ranch too. The problem is that the wings are very dry & over cooked. Last time I got bbq & bourbon wings. Delicious sauces by the way, especially if u mix them, but both times part of the wings are too dry to chew easily. Maybe they're re-cooked idk. Either way, I cant justify buying them again unless they're cooked at least a minute less. The fish was good even though the breading was slightly salty. Fish may be a little overcooked, but it's good enough to buy again if I'm craving catfish. The burger had a weird texture to the meat. It was a little crumbly. I guess because it was overcooked too. I got mayo & mustard and it was more mustard than mayo, just a small amount under the patty & barely any cheese. I probably won't get a burger again, but I guess I should have specified mayo on the buns, more mayo than mustard, don't overcook the burger, & use a full slice of cheese(if they didnt). Lastly, the pickup time was set for an hour after I ordered in the app. I got a text message that the food was ready to be picked up, but in actuality I still had to wait 20 more mins after I got there. So the app is not accurate. On a positive note, the fries from here are good. Soft not crispy, but definitely seasoned. The customer service and A/C are great. Just stop overcooking the meat and I'll be back 😁
